Originally from Stuttgart, Klaus spent sixteen years developing facial-recognition software before a colleague pointed out that he looked exactly like her bulldog. He founded Doggelgänger after existing adoption services repeatedly asked irrelevant questions about his lifestyle and garden. His own match, Heinrich, now appears beside him in investor meetings. Neither responds well to criticism or the doorbell.
